I love a bit (well, a lot) of selfish sewing – it’s fun to sew for the kids but really, sewing something for yourself that you will actually wear is such a satisfying feeling! And knowing that it is going to fit you for more than a year is good motivation to put in the effort too!! When my Pattern Parade girls were selecting their patterns to sew, over three-quarters of them picked women’s patterns!
