Stealing the show in the Pattern Parade today is Rachel from Stitched Together. Rachel sews the most beautiful clothing for her children, a classic style shines through her creations and she makes me want to sew more with solids. Rachel has four adorable children and is expecting her fifth in just a few weeks – Super Mum! Make sure you check out her blog and sewing projects, her photography is dreamy too…
For the Pattern Parade, Rachel has sewn a Mini Shearwater Kaftan for her daughter – check out how she added a bit of colour blocking to the sides, it’s so sweet. Visit Rachel at Stitched Together to see and read more about her gorgeous Kaftan.
Our next participant on the Pattern Parade is Jess from Craftiness is Not Optional. Jess’ blog name says it all…if you haven’t visited her before then you have to – she sews everything, bakes the cutest cookies, pulls off amazing parties and has recently finished the most detailed dollhouse I’ve ever seen.
Today Jess is sharing her Essential Shorts on the Pattern Parade runway. She made her shorts out of chambray – the perfect fabric choice to coordinate with everything. Don’t they look great on her? Go to Craftiness is Not Optional to see more!
It’s on! Day one of the Make It Perfect Pattern Parade!
Kicking the Parade off, is Ashley from Film in the Fridge. Ashley is the most amazing quilter I know, and she mixes it up a bit with some great clothing for herself and her kids. I first met Ashley when she started using my Shearwater Kaftan pattern to make tops for herself. Since then she has made many more (can we call her a Shearwater junkie?!) and for the Pattern Parade she choose to give the Mini Shearwater Kaftan (kids version) pattern a whirl.
Go to Ashley’s blog and see Hazel (the most adorable little girl I’ve ever seen) looking cuter than ever in her Mini Shearwater Kaftans – yep, all three of them!…
