Saturday 14th January 2012…Aunty Whitney brings Uncle Steve into our rapidly growing family and we couldn’t be happier with her catch!
The wedding was just beautiful. Thankfully the threatening rain held off and we were blessed with sunny skies by the afternoon.
Whitney’s dress was entirely handmade by my mother-in-law. She did an absolutely amazing job and spent hours and hours getting everything just right. My claim to fame is helping out with lots of late-night sewing sessions when we arrived in New Zealand and cursing Whitney numerous times as we tediously hand-sewed lace to the entire dress. Totally worth it in the end though!
