Today was the annual Devonport Stake Young Mens billy cart race. Another perfectly sunny day at Uncle Kim’s farm. Not too many injuries and lots of great billy carts this year. Of course Deloraine Ward took out the trophy again!
How lush and green is the grass? Doesn’t it make you want to roll down the hill?

I had my sewing machine serviced (hasn’t been done for over 6 years and had a few problems!) when Lil was born. I figured that I wouldn’t be wanting to use it for the first few weeks after she was born anyway. When I finally got it back I was itching to make something so came up with these little “soft block” creations made using scraps of quilting fabric. Each block has a bell inside that jingles when you shake or throw them…I think I am addicted!
