Footy

Cade played his last footy game for the season today. His team lose every game – but he is a good sport. We all think that someone at the Advocate has a crush on him because he has been in the newspaper at least 7 or 8 times this season and today there was even an article and studly photo of him!

I dropped Oscar with Mum and Fil to watch his last game today while I did a bit of shopping. Oscar loves football and cheers – every time the siren goes off he thinks it is a train and gets so excited!

It was freezing, so Lil and I only lasted about half an hour once we got there then we went to the chapel to wait for Jaron while he finished up at his meetings.

us…

Well, nothing very exciting going on here…just the usual getting housework done and feeding and settling babies. Jaron at work and uni, wanted to post some recent photos…can’t believe that Lil is 3 weeks old tomorrow…that is almost a month!

Recipe Monday

Another yummy recipe from my friend Kelly Peihopa…she made this for us when we went for dinner ages ago and we have made it heaps since. I like it because it is a nice fresh pizza and not greasy at all.

Mango and Chicken Pizza

1 pizza base
1 tin mangoes, drained
2-3 tbs dried mint
3cm piece fresh ginger, grated
mozzarella cheese
snow peas
pine nuts
red capsicum
raw chicken breast, cut into strips

Mash mangoes, mix with lots of dried mint and grated ginger.
Spread salsa onto a pizza base. Sprinkle with some grated mozzarella cheese.
Top with snow peas, pine nuts, capsicum and chicken, then sprinkle a little more cheese over the top.
Bake in oven for 30 minutes to an hour until pizza base and chicken are cooked.

Obsessed???

Well, we thought Oscar was crazy about trains a few weeks ago…but this is getting out of control! Everything is a train, all day long all he does is make train sound and talk about trains. Yesterday he did his biggest train ever using bits and pieces from around the loungeroom and kitchen…
Every room I go into I find little trains made from hair products in the bathroom, toys in his bedroom, cups in the kitchen…its pretty cute!
I realised that I hadn’t taken a photo of Lil’s mullet yet…so thought I should before it fell out!!! It is so soft and snuggly!

11 days old

Some photos of Lil and the boys on day 11…her looks are changing heaps, she is starting to look more like a little girl. Today I am going to go out with Oscar and Lil by myself!!! Wish me luck! Just to run some errands – post office, supermarket, etc. and might go to the park if we are feeling adventurous and it isn’t too absolutely freezing when we get outside.
