Yesterday morning when Jaron was getting Oscar his breakfast, Oscar decided that he didn’t want to have milk on his Weetbix…and ended up eating two DRY Weetbix! Feral! It took him so long to finish them, but he loved them – weird child! He also drank a LOT of water to wash them down!

Make It Perfect
Today Uncle Matthew turns 40 (he is wearing green in the photo with his brothers and sisters below).
Just wanted to let him know that I love him and hope that he has a great day today! Affectionately known to his family as Monkey, he is a big softie when it comes to family and never misses a birthday or celebration or just a quick hello to let you know that he is thinking of you.
We love you Monkey – have a brilliant day!
A couple of weekends ago we created this spectacular pizza…now we can’t get enough of it! At the moment Oscar’s two favourite foods are tomatoes and cheese so it also goes down really well with him!
Tomato and Bocconicini Pizza
2 pizza bases (we bought these, but you could make them if you like)
1 jar good quality tomato and garlic pasta sauce
1 punnet cherry tomatoes, halved
1 tub bocconcini cheese, sliced (I think it was about 200g)
fresh grated parmesan cheese
dried oregano
Spread sauce over bases. Top evenly with cherry tomatoes, cheeses and oregano.
Bake in 200 degree celcius oven for about 15 minutes or until golden.
Mmmmm….
Last night Jaron and I went on a date…alone (a VERY rare occurance!). We watched the Don College Production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat”. It was fantastic. The kids did an amazing job, top quality and very entertaining. When I attended the Don College in 1999, I was in the production “Pippin”. It was an awesome experience, I had so much fun. The productions hold a special place in my heart now, I love watching them every second year when they are put on. Jaron thinks I am a little crazy when we go to see them because I get so excited but I think he is getting used to it!
The other highlight of this years production was Cade’s spectacular performance as an Egyptian guard! He was so funny, in a short, short skirt and lots of skin and oil and a huge amount of flexing! He didn’t enrol to be in the production, but they needed some buffed boys to be guards so Cade and his footy mates got to star! He did a great job, and cracked us up so much! We wanted to take a photo of him in his costume but he wasn’t allowed to come out in it, so for now this is him and Jaron afterwards. When the production is over and he gets to bring his costume home I will be sure to have a photo shoot and post some photos of him in his outfit!!! Something you will definately want to see!!!
