Wouldn’t you love a brand new house just like this? Oscar does, he has been playing around in his little fort for ages throwing his balls around and reading stories! It sure beats watching the Wiggles over and over again! He is sitting in there at the moment saying “mine…house…mine…house”!!
Make It Perfect
Okay, so this isn’t our average bath time adventure but on Sunday night when we went to Mum and Dad’s for our weekly roast (yum!) Oscar wouldn’t get in the bath because it was too hot when he first got in and then he was too scared to get in after that. So…what else would a crazy Gramma do but to get into her pyjamas and hop in with him!
This slice has been a family favourite for years. It takes no time to put it together and satisfies a chocolate craving when you don’t have any real chocolate around!!

Tonight we went to a ward fire cracker night in Parkham. We were lucky enough to have Mum come out and stay at home with Oscar so that we could go and enjoy it without having to run around after him and keep him away from the fire. I’m sure he would have had an awesome time, but it wouldn’t have been much fun for me! Next year he will be old enough to enjoy it more. It was a fun night, lots of marshmallows toasted on the bonfire and not too cold despite the freezing weather we have been getting lately. The fire crackers were beautiful and it was nice to hang out with our friends.
